I purchased The Great Wave Off Kanawaga to hang over an antique Japanese desk. The tapestry is stunning and is so well made. It is even more beautiful than I imagined it would be. Along the way, I discovered that Quality Tapestries’ easy-to-use website features many oriental tapestries. Having a new home, I’ve ordered 3 more Asian tapestries - the richly colorful and more modern Asian Spring Chorus, the elegant, classic Bamboo and Orchids, and the ever fascinating Navaro Rapids. I am so happy that I have found Quality Tapestries, and am also grateful for its excellent customer service.
I fell in love with Taste when I first visited the Cluny Museum about 35 years ago. I asked friends to bring back a copy from the museum shop. I paid a lot of $ for that tapestry, which had washed out colors, looking much older than the original ! My new tapestry is very like the original. I surveyed all copies available on line and found many edited out the monkey ( the only one who is shown tasting in the tapestry ! ) . Others had washed out colors
or colors too dark ; different animals were changed or deleted ; banners were significantly changed….
There are a few minor changes in this one; overall it is the most authentic and beautiful.
We love the wall tapestry and the tassels to compliment it. It was the perfect choice and colors for a living room addition. I sent a photo in a previous email.
It was the shape, size and colours in this tapestry that appealed. It came surprisingly promptly and there was no import tax to pay. I’m very pleased with it. Only one suggestion…it would have been better rolled around a cardboard tube as it arrived folded and it’s very tricky to get those creases out. Apart from that, it’s perfect!

Quality Tapestries have helped me add interest and elegance to the windows of my apartment in an old school house. The windows are 8 + feet tall. Have hung tapestries at the tops of several. This current purchase of the Indian Masala has a bottom edge in three points and hangs in a room with a single window. It draws your eye up to the 12 foot ceiling and compliments the décor perfectly. Am always satisfied with the superior quality of my purchases from this company.
