Extra large wall tapestries fill the big walls that ordinary art cannot: a great room, a two-story stairwell, a wall above a long sectional, a dining room or a lobby. This collection includes every tapestry we offer at 70 inches wide or more, or 80 inches tall or more, from huge landscapes and garden scenes to Renaissance and Flemish-style designs, maps, Van Gogh and modern abstracts.

Sizing tip: measure the open wall and aim for a tapestry that covers about 60 to 75 percent of its width. Mark the outline with painter's tape before you order. Oversized pieces are heavy, so use a sturdy rod and anchor the brackets into studs, and keep a large tapestry out of strong direct sunlight. To store one, roll it around a tube rather than folding it.

Large tapestries have been used to decorate castles and halls for centuries. Ours are newly made on jacquard looms in the USA, Belgium, France and Italy, and some European designs include wool. See our tapestry rods and tassels, or browse all wall tapestries and our living room wall hangings.
