Lady and the Unicorn A Mon Seul Desir tapestry depicts the best-known scene of the series: a young noblewoman and her servant, flanked by a unicorn and a lion on a red ground filled with flowers and animals. The six original tapestries, woven around 1500 and now at the Musée de Cluny in Paris, bear the arms of Jean Le Viste.

Five represent the senses, while the sixth, A Mon Seul Desir (‘to my only desire’), has a meaning that is still debated. This jacquard woven reproduction brings that richness to a living room, dining room or library. Its rich red ground and detailed millefleur background make it a striking focal point, especially in traditional and old world interiors.

The majority are in stock and ship within 3 business days from our USA warehouse. If not in stock, the tapestry will be brought in from Europe, which typically takes 2-4 weeks. Occasionally it can take longer.

USA Woven Tapestries:
These are made-to-order. Typical production time is 4 weeks. Occasionally it can take longer, such as during high volume times.

Listed shipping times are typical, but delays occur occasionally for a variety of reasons. We truly appreciate your patience when this happens! Tracking numbers are emailed as items ship.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Orders shipped to locations outside of the USA may be subject to import/duty fees.
