How much do they cost?
For an order of one tapestry the price is typically between 30-40 cents per square inch. Quotes for multiple tapestries may be lower depending on the quantity. Projects start at a minimum of $399. Ground shipping is free within the USA. International shipping may be extra. Please request a quote above to get your exact price. Thank you!
What material are they?
Our custom tapestries are approximately 65% cotton & 35% polyester. No wool options are available.
Occasionally we will add a silver orgold lurex threadto a design in which it would look good. These threads give off a nice shimmer.
Are there any size limitations?
Our widest loom has an output of 80 inches. The other dimension can be longer. (For instance we can make a tapestry that is 80" x 200".) This is our only size limitation on a single tapestry. However, if you have a larger area that you are looking to cover, we can get creative with multiple tapestries woven and placed side by side, or even possibly sew two pieces together.
Are there image requirements?
Generally speaking, we can weave almost any image. If you own the image, or it is public domain, we can weave it. If it is protected by a copyright then a waiver usually needs be signed.
File types: We can weave from nearly any file type. JPEGs are the most common, but we can also weave from a PNG, TIFF, PDF, etc. If necessary we can always convert your image to another file type.
Resolution: 72 dpi or higher is great for weaving, but we have worked with images of lower resolution before. If you're not sure, just send us your image and we'll let you know!
How long does it take to make?
Production time is typically 4-6 weeks. On occasion we can rush an order and produce it in as little as 1-2 weeks. We can also expedite shipping if needed. If you need an order rushed let us know!
What about shipping?
Our custom tapestries are made in and ship from the USA. Most quotes include free shipping within the USA and will ship via FedEx Ground unless requested otherwise.
International shipping: We ship globally via FedEx, UPS & DHL. Your quote will specify if there are any additional shipping costs. Some countries may charge duties/taxes to release your package.
