Lion - Nebuchadnezzar II is a Belgian made jacquard wall tapestry. This artwork is an extract from the very well known Ishtar Gate in Babylon, est. 604 - 562 BCE. The wall painting leads from the temple of Marduk to the temple of Akitu, passing through the gate of Ishtar. This Lion represents the main quality of the Goddess. A reconstruction of the Ishtar Gate and Processional Way was built at the Pergamon Museum in Berlin out of material excavated by Robert Koldewey and finished in the 1930s. Display this incredible piece in your home, study, or office.

We ship worldwide for free. All items ship from the United States. (For international orders, see our important note below.)

European Woven Tapestries:
The majority are in stock and ship within 3 business days from our USA warehouse. If not in stock, the tapestry will be brought in from Europe, which typically takes 2-4 weeks. Occasionally it can take longer.

USA Woven Tapestries:
These are made-to-order. Typical production time is 2-4 weeks. Occasionally it can take longer, such as during high volume times.

Listed shipping times are typical, but delays occur occasionally for a variety of reasons. We truly appreciate your patience when this happens! Tracking numbers are emailed as items ship.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Orders shipped to locations outside of the USA may be subject to import/duty fees. This can typically run between 5-20% of the value of the order, although they can be more, or no fees may be imposed at all. If imposed, these fees are due to release the package for delivery once it arrives in your country.
