Brackets & screws included for mounting. The adjustable width range of the rod does not include the width of the finials. The feather finials measure 4.25"W x 2"H.

For instance, if you are purchasing a tapestry that is 42" wide, you would select a rod that has that width within its adjustable range. In this example then you would choose the 28" - 48" rod.

I'm so pleased that I wish I ordered a bigger one. Take note, that the optional Tassels are very large, and really designed for the largest tapestries. I wish they offered smaller sizes, but my return of the tassels was easily accommodated as Quality Tapestries emailed me a prepaid FedEx return label. Great customer service.
