This is a brand new reproduction tapestry of a vintage piece. The original tapestry was woven in Flanders, Belgium, in the late 15th century and now hangs in the Cluny museum in Paris. The scene depicts the bustle of harvest time, exemplifying grape gathering and the wine press. It shows the two methods of pressing used in medieval times: pressing grapes with the feet, and pressing with the screw, to extract the juice, and then collected in wooden barrels. This marvelous antique replica, also known as Vendanges, is completed by a Mille Fleurs (Thousand Flowers) background.

The majority are in stock and ship within 3 business days from our USA warehouse. If not in stock, the tapestry will be brought in from Europe, which typically takes 2-4 weeks. Occasionally it can take longer.

USA Woven Tapestries:
These are made-to-order. Typical production time is 2-4 weeks. Occasionally it can take longer, such as during high volume times.

Listed shipping times are typical, but delays occur occasionally for a variety of reasons. We truly appreciate your patience when this happens! Tracking numbers are emailed as items ship.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Orders shipped to locations outside of the USA may be subject to import/duty fees. This can typically run between 5-20% of the value of the order, although they can be more, or no fees may be imposed at all. If imposed, these fees are due to release the package for delivery once it arrives in your country.
